About CEE:  The mission of Community Empowering Enterprises (CEE) is to increase economic opportunities for Black youth (18-19) living in Toronto’s priority neighbourhoods, supporting them in the areas of employability, social enterprise and entrepreneurship. CEE works to ensure that our programming reaches and is accessible to youth who face multiple barriers, such as: unemployment, underemployment, conflict with law, being young parents, poverty and lack of secondary or post-secondary education.

CEE runs two core programs: Company Challenge, a hands-on entrepreneurship program for youth interested in creative or social service fields; and Kitchen Masters, a program that provides life skills, culinary skills and work experience to help youth build careers in the culinary field.  A legacy initiative of the Youth Challenge Fund, CEE is trusteed by Black Creek Community Health Centre.
