Lavendar Creek Lost River Walk-Feb 28th

Lavender Creek Lost River Walk: Sunday, February 28, 1:30 – 3:30 pm, meet at Stockyards Second Cup

Community members are invited to join the Rivers Rising Ambassadors and the Rockcliffe Smythe and Mt. Dennis community associations for an exploratory walk along ‘lost’ Lavender Creek, welcoming the Rising Rivers Project to our area.

A community engagement collaboration of the Toronto Green Community Lost Rivers program http://www.torontogreen.ca/, the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto First Story program, and the Toronto Community Garden Network.

Share stories, our natural and cultural heritage and new discoveries! We’ll meet at the Second Cup at the Stockyards roundabout at 1:20pm and walk the paved route along the lost creek to a reception at the Jane Woolner TCHC building. See you there! (Second Cup discount for walkers!)
